Since 2009, we’ve been collaborating with B2B & B2B2C companies to build and deliver exceptional, unique and innovative services and solutions to our Group clients. By combining assets from across our Group companies, together with your own unique components we aim to open new markets, disrupt current ones and destroy average.
We Offer Several Investment Opportunities
We don’t run a traditional VC Managed Fund, where we pool investors money and charge fees to manage it – We look for ad-hoc, innovative, collaborative opportunities to invest and grow both current and new ventures with our own capital funds.
Existing Company Investments
We offer investment opportunities whereby you, (an individual, fund or corporation) spot companies within our portfolio you’d like to support on their ambitious growth journeys. Whilst there may be opportunity to invest capital only, the more appealing scenario to S&A are deal structures with significant scale-up potential. Where 3rd parties present specific opportunities to scale a portfolio company into new networks, territories, markets or to develop adjacent capabilities.
Eco-System Entrepreneurs
We often describe our Group as a set of ‘Businesses’ within a Business. We welcome entrepreneurs looking to establish their own ventures within our Group structure. Specifically, win-win scenarios where individuals or groups bring their ideas, energy and capability and we utilise our existing assets to grow their new businesses at a faster rate. Often via models which combine capital investment, human endeavour, sweat or traditional equity, or P&L profit share.
Collaborative Investments
Whilst we don’t publicly run managed fund raises to invest in new corporate acquisitions (like a traditional VC), we do encourage market savvy investors to bring creative opportunities to S&A. Generally, these consist of investors who wish to support specific ventures (new or existing), outside our portfolio companies. Recognising where such ventures would benefit from S&A Group support. For example, you may wish to invest in a new AI start-up, but recognise the current team lack market experience, product development capabilities, pre-seed capital or other such components required for success. Attributes which S&A can supply via a joint investment model.
